APPLICATION OF INDUSTRIAL 4G SIM ROUTER IN LIVESTOCK FARM

Many livestock farms have thousands or even tens of thousands of animals. The weight of livestock is an important indicator of the breeding industry. How to manage the weight of such a large number of livestock needs a scientific method.

The animals are weighed at regular intervals to see if they are meeting expectations for feeding and if they are meeting weight targets for slaughter.

Traditional weighing method:

1. Drive the livestock to the livestock scale and manually register their weight. For large farms, the amount of work and inefficiency is unimaginable.

2. Visual inspection: The breeder visually observes the livestock every once in a while to roughly estimate the growth of the livestock. This can only be estimated roughly and cannot quantify, which is unsuitable for large farms.

1. Give each animal an identification number

2. Livestock is automatically scanned and identified by the ear tag reader next to the scale, and the card reader device sends the ear tag data to the 4G router device of E-Lins through the RS232 bus

4. The weight data of livestock is uploaded to the database through the E-Lins 4G router device. The system automatically compares and analyzes the data of the last weighing, and the amount of meat gained between two weighs is clear at a glance.

5. After the weighing is finished and the data is uploaded to the background, the background system makes a judgment according to the data: when the weight reaches the slaughter index, the door of the exit channel will be automatically opened; when the weight does not reach the index, the door of the return channel will be automatically opened. The outlet door and outlet door can be controlled by the network relay control board.
